I did not expect anniversaries, safety or forever promises. Then Craig kept showing up. He is annoying like that.

Craig and I have officially been together for a year and a half, Readers! This milestone feels both completely normal and absolutely impossible at the same time. When this started, I did not picture anniversaries. I honestly pictured a brief, chaotic adventure followed by an awkward conversation where we agreed it had been fun, terrible and something we should never mention again.
